The Wedding Connections Video Team are professionals who are as knowledgeable about weddings as they are about videotaping.
No Big Production. We strive to cover the events of the day without becoming part of the event. One of the nicest compliments we receive is that "We hardly knew you were there." Reserve your Chicago Videographer well in advance. We use only fully trained and qualified personnel. When all videographers are assigned on a particular date, that date is closed. Wedding Ceremony Coverage begins with the videographer's arrival at the ceremony location one hour prior to the start of the ceremony. We allow this time so that your videographer can check with the clergy for instructions and begin coverage with the arrival of your guests. Once the processional begins, the ceremony will be recorded in its entirety. After the ceremony, we will continue to videotape select scenes of your receiving line, photographer's portrait session and other post ceremony activities. Wedding Reception Coverage begins at the starting time of your reception with receiving line and various guest shots. Coverage continues with introduction to dinner, the best man's toast, and personal messages from your bridal party. After dinner we will continue to record all the special events such as the cake cutting, first dance, father-daughter dance and the bouquet-garter toss. The videographer will remain in the area of the dance floor to videotape selected dancing and any well wishes from friends and family. Editing your videotape. We begin an edited videotape with the acquisition of your source footage using state of the art Professional Digital 3 Chip Camcorders. Your finished edited tape includes an introduction using a collage of your favorite photographs and your wedding invitation. All of this and the pre-ceremony guest arrival will be set to music, which we will select or you may provide. The ceremony is then edited and, depending on the package, utilizes Two or Three Different Camera Angles. Single camera reception coverage is then enhanced with the addition of background music in the cocktail/receiving line segment. All of the reception coverage is completely reassembled to eliminate lapses in the action. The finishing touch is a video Highlight Recap set to the music of your bridal dance and ending with a rolling "credit" list of your wedding party. Click here to view our Wedding Demos! |
